REGISTERED MEMBER: A registered member is entitled to site-wide participation. In addition to site viewing, registered members can nominate and vote in the People’s Choice Awards section, post free classifieds, post community calendar events, enter contests, and receive occasional newsletters or email notifications. By registering and confirming your membership, you confirm that you have read and agree to abide by our site rules.

SITE REGISTRATION: Registration on ImagenMx.com for the Best Of Lake Chapala is free and open to individuals having a distinct email account. Duplicate or multiple memberships account addresses will be deleted. Offensive user names may be rejected by site administrators.

DISCLAIMER: Every effort will be made to ensure accurate, valid and objective contest results. ImagenMx and its sponsors or employees cannot be held responsible for intentionally fraudulent voting, unauthorized claims related to our survey, or unauthorized duplication and use of the award emblem.

Should an individual, group or business be found to have displayed suspicious activity or violated in any way the integrity of the People’s Choice survey and its Contest Rules, including the use of the digital winner’s emblem, sponsor ImagenMx reserves the right to take appropriate steps. The first shall be notification and request that the violation be rectified within 15 days. Should the offending individual, group or business fail to rectify their violation or unauthorized use of the People’s Choice emblem within 15 days of written notification, steps by ImagenMx may include: 1) revocation of site membership and contest participation or authorization to use any past, present or future People Choice award;  2) the posting of clarifications and corrections on this site as well as in area print media and/or social media sites, with total impunity and lack of liability for ImagenMx arising from said clarifications or corrections; 3) legal action as necessary to obtain rectification and punitive damages. Should legal action be necessary, all associated legal fees will be the due and payable by the defendant upon conclusion of legal action and ruling
